Manny Pacquiao Stamps
June 1st, 2008Manny Pacquiao will be the first Filipino athlete to be featured in a series of special stamps that will be issued by the PhilPost (Philippine Postal Corp).
Pacquiao agreed to the proposal from PhilPost which in itself is regarded as a singular honor for an athlete who has helped restore international respect for the Philippines through boxing.
The stamp project was called “Kaya ng Pinoy” that will feature Filipino achievers in different sports scene.
The Manny Pacquiao stamps series from PhilPost will be issued in limited quantities, and is expected to become a highly prized collector’s item once its issuance is ended.
